ABOUT US

Unlocking Seafood Supply Chains

Key Traceability was launched in 2015 to provide services to the fisheries and aquaculture industry using our expertise and experience. Based in Portsmouth, UK, we have team members located across Europe and Asia-Pacific. Our confidential, client-focused service aims to bring clarity to organisations and transparency to consumers.

The international, dispersed nature of seafood supply chains presents a unique level of complexity, with fishing, processing, packing, transport, retail, and restaurants stretched across the globe. A comprehensive knowledge of the industry is needed, which is what Key Traceability offers. The company has built-up extensive knowledge of the international standards and best practices for fisheries, aquaculture and working conditions.

We offer environmental, social and economic services across the marine sector. We specialise in projects such as establishing and coordinating FIPs, conducting social audits, providing information on best practices and driving improvements on the water, advising on sustainability and purchasing policies, and undertaking industry research. Our clients have spanned the globe, supply chain levels, and stakeholder interests, with current and past clients and projects including retailers, fishing companies, traders, governments, NGOs, and worker unions and associations.

In addition to our company staff, we regularly work or collaborate with a multi-skilled and diverse network of auditors, consultants, scientists and technical experts to achieve the best project outcomes.

Do you need help unlocking seafood supply chains? Contact us today and let’s discuss how we can help you.
